Parachute Soldier

Here is a small sculpture I finished just before Christmas. It is about 10" tall, 6" wide, and 3" deep. The parachute soldier was cast in bronze from a real plastic toy and is draped over the nail-studded board.

Obligatory "First Post" Post

This is a blog about my art. This is the first post on said blog. Hopefully, this blog has a long and illustrious life, unlike other blogs I have had in the past. For me, blogs are kind of like county fair goldfish: they're easy to come by, but hard to keep alive. I suppose this blog will be alive as long as I am making art to post on it, so let's hope it stays alive for a long time. I'm also going to post other people's art that I think is cool, so that's some more flakes in this county fair goldfish's tank.
